FAQ

Which hook should I use?
• Sheepshead, mangrove snapper, black drum: Octopus or Eagle Beak
• Snook, redfish, tarpon on live bait: Circle
• Trout, bass, soft plastics, tournaments: Sport Circle
• Kingfish, mahi, amberjack, trolling: O'Shaughnessy
• King salmon and steelhead: #3 Octopus
• Replacing hooks on plugs and spoons: Treble

What sizes do you carry?
• Octopus: #3, #2, #1, 1/0 to 6/0
• Circle: 1/0 to 6/0
• Eagle Beak: #2, #1, 1/0 to 6/0
• Sport Circle: #2, #1, 1/0 to 5/0
• O'Shaughnessy: #2, #1, 1/0 to 4/0
• Treble: #3, #1, 1/0, 3/0

How do hook sizes work?
Numbered sizes get smaller as the number goes up, so a #3 is smaller than a #1. Aught sizes (1/0, 2/0 and up) get bigger as the number goes up, so a 6/0 is the largest.

How many hooks are in a pack?
Lawless Series hooks come in 5-packs ($4.49) and 10-packs ($6.89) at every size. Treble hooks come in 5-packs ($7.90).

What are the hooks made of?
High-carbon steel, built for super strong penetrating power.

Why use a circle hook?
A circle hook sets itself in the corner of the fish's mouth as it swims off, so you don't need a hard hookset. It rarely gut-hooks fish, which makes catch-and-release safer, especially for snook and redfish.
